There were nine Minnesota products taken in the 2022 WHL U.S. Priority Draft and Three more prospects that are from outside the state and play at Shattuck St. Mary’s in Faribault. Some of the top 2006 Minnesotans were not selected as one of the main concerns/strategies of this draft is being able to have your selected individual play for your franchise. California Had the most of any state with 12 players selected.
