Congratulations to the nine Minnesotans drafted into the NHL. Chaz Lucius was the first skater from the State of Hockey to be selected, as the Winnipeg Jets selected the gifted forward with the 18th pick in the 1st round. Grand Rapids native Jack Peart was the next Minnesota born prospect to be selected as the Wild drafted Mr. Hockey with the 54th pick overall. The nine Minnesotan selected is one more than selected in 2020.
