What a summer it has been for Joel Johnson. After being tabbed as the head coach for the St. Thomas Women’s program in early June, Johnson has now been selected to lead the U.S. Women’s National Team at the Beijing Olympics.
The Woodbury, Minnesota native has an impressive coaching resume with over 20 years of coaching in the college ranks and experience coaching at the international level as well.
Johnson will be behind the bench when the U.S Women’s National Team competes in Calgary Aug. 20-31 in the IIHF World Championships
The 2022 Olympic Winter Games will be February 4th to February 20th, 2022, in Beijing, China.
