Minnesota Commitments From August

August was a busy month on the recruiting front, with 14 Minnesota natives announcing verbal commitments to NCAA Division I programs. The University of Minnesota led the way with three commitments, landing Joseph Cullen, Nash Roed and Henry Meier. Air Force and Western Michigan each secured two Minnesota players.

Hibbing produced three commitments during the month, including brothers Cole and Tate Swanson. Elk River, Moorhead and Woodbury each had two players make their college decisions. The group includes seven forwards, five defensemen and two goaltenders, continuing to showcase the depth of talent developing throughout the state.
