Lakeville North standout Gunnar Conboy is staying close to home. The talented forward has officially committed to the University of Minnesota. A proven leader and consistent performer, Conboy served as captain of Lakeville North as just a sophomore last season, leading the Panthers with 44 points (24 goals, 20 assists) in 27 games. His leadership, production, and maturity have made him one of the most respected young players in Minnesota High School Hockey.
Last fall, Conboy also excelled in the Upper Midwest High School Elite League, recording 15 points in 21 games for Team MAP South. This spring, he added another accolade by signing a USHL tender with the Green Bay Gamblers, securing his junior rights for the 2025–26 season. With a blend of size, skill, and relentless motor, Conboy continues to climb scouting lists nationwide.
