Wayzata defenseman Holton Davison has announced his commitment to play Division I hockey for Miami University (Ohio). Davison has made a steady climb up the Minnesota hockey ranks, providing reliable and intelligent play on the blue line for the Trojans during the 2024–25 season.
The 2009-born defender was selected to compete in the Final 54 Spring Festival, an event that showcases many of the state’s top players in his age group. His performance there further solidified his reputation as one of Minnesota’s top young defensemen. This fall, Davison continued his development in the Prep Elite League, where his mobility, poise, and defensive awareness once again stood out.
A steady, two-way presence with growing confidence, Davison projects as a key addition to Miami’s future blueline.
