Commitment: Sam Schulte – Army Golden Knights

The Army Golden Knights have received a commitment from Sam Schulte, a steady and skilled defenseman out of Robbinsdale, Minnesota. Schulte is in his second season with the Chippewa Steel (NAHL), where he’s off to a strong start with 7 points in 10 games.

Before joining the Steel, Schulte was a standout at Mounds View High School, where he played three seasons and served as team captain during the 2023–24 campaign. A true leader on and off the ice, he was the driving force behind the Mustangs’ blue line, producing an impressive 88 points in 71 career games, a remarkable number for a defenseman.

The Golden Knights are getting a player who combines leadership, skill, and a relentless work ethic, a perfect match for the culture of Army hockey.
