Cottage Grove native Owen Corkish will be playing for the Prince Albert Raiders of the Western Hockey League after signing a Scholarship & Development Agreement with the club.
Corkish is coming off an impressive high school career, amassing 153 points in just 73 games over three seasons, a testament to his consistency and offensive ability. Following the end of his senior season last spring, he joined the Minnesota Mallards, where he recorded three assists in 10 appearances.
He developed his game through the Cottage Grove Youth Hockey Association and was also a member of the Minnesota Blades, gaining valuable experience against elite competition. While Corkish is currently uncommitted at the NCAA level, his production, skill set, and development path make him a prospect to watch as he embarks on his WHL career.
