Augustana University has received a verbal commitment from Edina native Caleb Pittsley, a talented 17-year-old forward currently playing for the Madison Capitals (USHL).
Pittsley starred for Edina High School over the past two seasons, helping the Hornets capture the 2024 Minnesota State High School Hockey Championship as a sophomore and returning to the State Tournament last season. In 2024–25 he posted 43 points (21 goals, 22 assists) in 30 games.
A dangerous player in the slot, Pittsley possesses one of the best shots and dangerous releases in his age group. His combination of scoring touch and competitive edge has made him a constant threat at even strength and on the power play.
With his commitment to Augustana, the Vikings secure a forward with proven production, elite release, and a winning pedigree, a player capable of making an impact at the collegiate level in the coming years.
