Rogers native Brock Cheslock has announced his commitment to play college hockey at Augustana University. Cheslock was a driving force for Rogers High School last season, scoring 17 goals and adding 22 assists while helping lead the Royals to the Minnesota State High School Hockey Tournament. His combination of offensive production and leadership has made him one of the more talked-about players in the state heading into this season.
In addition to his high school success, Cheslock was drafted by Omaha of the USHL and is currently skating for Twin Cities Orthopedics in the Upper Midwest High School Elite League, where he continues to refine his game against top regional competition.
With his skill set, production, and reputation as a high compete player, Cheslock has emerged as a legitimate Mr. Hockey candidate this season. His commitment to Augustana gives the Vikings an impactful forward with the ability to contribute in multiple fashions in the future.
