Mason Jenson of Rogers High School has committed to play college hockey at Ohio State University. The playmaking forward had 49 points in 27 games as a sophomore last season, helping Rogers to the section final, just one game from the state tournament.
Jenson has been on the radar of many different schools for the last few years as he was a standout for the Minnesota Blades and dominated the bantam level, scoring 111 goals and totaling 199 points during the 2021-22 season.
Jenson is a polished skater that has a tremendous scoring touch, aided by slick stick-work and deceptive shot. His style and high level skill will easily transition to the D1 level and he will continue to be a high volume scorer for the Buckeyes.
