Dallas Vieau is heading east for college as he announced that he has made a verbal commitment to play hockey at Penn State University. The Hermantown forward tallied 17 goals and added 12 assists in 31 games as a sophomore last season. This fall Vieau has put up 17 points in 16 games in the Midwest Elite League.

Vieau is mature beyond his years on the ice as he played extremely well for a 2006 DOB sophomore last season. Vieau is a strong skater that plays a true two-way game. He thinks the game fast and has tremendous vision.

It’s been a busy year for Vieau as he was part of Hermantown’s State Championship in March. Then in May, Vieau was selected by the Tri-City Storm in the 7th round, 91st overall, in the 2022 Phase 1 USHL. In July Vieau put on the USA jersey and represented our country at the Under-17 Five Nations Tournament in Colorado Springs.
