Seven Minnesotans Make the NTDP U-17’S

Seven Minnesotans will wear the Red, White, and Blue next season and play for the National Team Development Program’s Under-17 team. There were 23 players selected to the team with Minnesota having the most of any other state. A total of nine Minnesotans were invited to the selection camp which was held on March 20th-24th, at the USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan.

Four of the teams eight defensemen hail from Minnesota and Sam Laurila of Moorhead becomes just the second Minnesotan to be selected from bantams (Brock Faber).
