Oliver Moore is coming home for college as he committed to the University of Minnesota on Wednesday. The former Totino-Grace standout has been a force for the National Team Development Program, scoring 20 goals and 23 assists in 51 games this season. Puck Preps had Moore as the top ranked 2005 North American skater that was uncommitted.
Moore was one of 11 Minnesotans invited to the NTDP Evaluation camp last summer and was selected to the squad with four other Minnesotans, one being Totino-Grace teammate, Austin Burnevik.
After Moore’s first games in the Red, White, and Blue I posted this article about him being a first-round pick. At the time I thought I was being bold, now it looks obvious as he has produced night after night for the NTDP.
Getting Moore is a huge win for the Gophers as they continue to attract the state’s top talent.
