Minnesota Born Division I Commits for August
Seven Minnesotans committed to D1 institutions in the month of August, with three of these prospects selecting the University of Minnesota Duluth. UMD were expected to be the front runners on Hermantown natives, Ty Hanson and Zam Plante, but landing Jayson Shaugabay was a nice surprise for the Bulldogs. Shattuck St. Mary’s William Whitelaw was the only prospect to head out of state as he selected Wisconsin as his future home.
