Eagan native and standout defenseman Kyle Heger has officially signed a Scholarship and Development Agreement with the Medicine Hat Tigers of the Western Hockey League.
Heger, known for his mobility and offensive instincts from the blue line, had a stellar 2024–25 season with the Shattuck-St. Mary’s Prep team, where he recorded 59 points (13 goals, 46 assists) in 58 games. His ability to create offense while maintaining defensive responsibility made him a key piece on the National Champs.
The 6’0” defenseman has continued to impress with his smooth skating, vision, and poise under pressure. Heger is currently committed to play Division I college hockey at Western Michigan University.
