Minnesota is well represented in NHL Central Scouting’s Midterm Rankings for the 2026 NHL Draft, with 22 Minnesotans listed among North American skaters and goaltenders. The group is headlined by Moorhead native Wyatt Cullen, currently with the NTDP U18 team. Cullen, a University of Minnesota commit, continues to solidify his status as one of the top prospects from the state.

The list also includes six current Minnesota high school players, led by Jaden Kurtz, who checks in as the highest-ranked among them at No. 77. Goaltending remains a position of strength, with three Minnesota netminders appearing in the rankings. Carter Casey leads that group, ranked 12th among North American goalies.

All rankings referenced are among North American skaters and goaltenders.
