- Six Minnesota High School Hockey Teams will have a higher payroll than the Minnesota Twins. (Sell the Team Pohlad’s!)
- Jayden Kurtz of Rogers is a Mr. Hockey Finalist
- Centennial doubles their goal total from last season (61)
- Lakeville South vs. Minnetonka on opening night will double as a sneak peek as a Thursday quarterfinal matchup in the State Tournament
- Carter Ernst is a Mr. Hockey Finalist
- Zac Zimmermann scores 40 goals
- Despite a low point total, Sam Peckham of Edina is recognized as a top player and is a Mr. Hockey Finalist
- Minnetonka has a GAA under 1.67 in the regular season
- Any 6-7 reference will be a 5-minute major
- Duluth East Hockey makes a strong comeback thanks to sophomore standouts Liam Brooks and Zane Medlin
- Braeden Waller of St. Michael-Albertville has a huge breakout season

- Cole Cheeseman of Holy Angels scores 100 points
- Stimulus checks will be sent out due to a major dip in Productivity in Minnesota from March 4th to the 7th.
- After failing to reach 20 wins for the first time since 2018-19, Maple Grove gets back on track and wins 22 games this season.
- Freshman Owen Ryan is going to be a household name across Minnesota High School Hockey
- We hear a “Norm Green Sucks” chant at the Tourney this year.
- Underrated Gavin Karl of Minnetonka starts getting some respect
- Mahtomedi triples their PP% from last year (7.5% last season)
- Hill-Murray’s Grayson Hangii Has a SV% over .930 and collects over 20 wins.
- Hangii is a Frank Brimsek Award Finalist
- Joey Cullen, the top 2010 player in the nation, reaches the 70-point mark for Moorhead.
- Griffin Storey posts 80 points for Waseca
- Gabe Perron of the Academy of Holy Angels notches 65 points, giving the blueliner 200 for his career.
- Keegan Davis of Benilde is a Mr. Hockey Finalist
- Maddux Domagala leads the state in goals
- Freshman RJ Thompson leads Eden Prairie in scoring
- Paxon Madill is a breakout for Hermantown
- Tate Swanson is a Mr. Hockey Finalist
- Mason West wins a State Championship in football and returns to Edina for another Tourney run
- St. Paul Academy goes full rebrand and becomes “The Berthiaume’s.” Too many on the roster to ignore it.
- Halfway through the season, Windom learns that high school teams can, in fact, play kids who aren’t freshmen.
- Rosemount’s multi-sport machine Quinton VeDepo joins two new winter sports teams just to fill the gaps in his schedule
- Someone rocks the ‘reverse mohawk’ at The Tourney

- Jonny Bloedow nets 35 for Cretin
- A section playoff game goes 5 overtimes.
- Anthony Yerxa of International Falls scores 50 goals
