Minnetonka native Rennick Hendrickson has announced his commitment to the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD), adding another high-end Minnesota forward to the Bulldogs’ future pipeline. Hendrickson spent the past two seasons at Shattuck-St. Mary’s, producing 45 points (11G, 34A) in 57 games for the 15U team in 2023–24 and 33 points (10G, 23A) in 54 games with the 16U team in 2024–25.

On the national stage, Hendrickson earned a spot at USA Hockey’s Boys Select 17 event, where he posted 3 goals and 1 assist in 6 games, reinforcing his upward trajectory against top peer competition.  The 2008-born forward blends pace, touch, and vision, with a knack for making plays off the rush and finding seams in tight areas.

With Hendrickson’s commitment, UMD secures a skilled, play-driving winger whose recent production and national-camp showing point to meaningful collegiate upside. Bulldogs fans should be excited about the fit and the projection.
