Minnesota High School Prospects on the Move

After playing his freshman season at Two River High School, Luke Chrsitopherson will play with Portland of the WHL

The following is a list of players who competed in Minnesota High School Hockey last season and still have remaining eligibility, but will not return to their high school programs for the 2024–25 season.

This list is expected to be longer than in past years, due in part to new NCAA rule changes that now allow players in the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) to retain their college eligibility. As a result, more players are exploring alternative development paths.

Whether it’s for enhanced exposure, accelerated development, or to align with college commitments, these moves reflect the evolving landscape of amateur hockey.
