Former Woodbury standout and Minnesota State commit Aiden Grossklaus has signed with the Wenatchee Wild of the Western Hockey League (WHL). The move adds another chapter to an already impressive developmental path for the skilled forward.
Grossklaus opted to forgo his senior season at Woodbury High School last year, instead competing in the USHL with the Des Moines Buccaneers. He appeared in 59 games and tallied 19 points, gaining valuable junior hockey experience. Prior to his time in the USHL, Grossklaus posted 81 points across two varsity seasons with Woodbury, establishing himself as a top forward in the state.
Despite his move to the WHL, Grossklaus remains committed to Minnesota State University, where he is slated to begin his college career in the 2026-27 season.
He becomes the fifth Minnesotan to join the Wenatchee Wild and will have the opportunity to skate alongside fellow future Maverick and Mr. Hockey winner, Mason Kraft. With WHL seasoning and strong collegiate plans in place, Grossklaus continues to be a player to watch.
