Forward John Gramer has earned MN Hockey Life Player of the Week honors after an outstanding performance at the Kings of Spring (KOS) Super Series Finale, held right here in Minnesota.
Skating with SDP, Gramer lit up the scoresheet with 16 points in 6 games, tying teammate Maverick McKinnon for the tournament scoring lead. His production played a key role in SDP’s impressive 6-1 record and runner-up finish, falling short in the championship game with a 7-3 loss to Little Caesars.
Gramer’s recent stretch of hockey has been nothing short of remarkable. He helped Moorhead capture a Bantam State Championship, then followed it up with a U14 National Championship as a member of the Blue Ox. He also delivered a strong showing at the High Performance Spring Festival, and his performance at the KOS Finale continues to build his case as one of Minnesota’s premier 2010-born prospects.
There’s no rest for Gramer either, he’ll be back in action at the HP Summer Camp in St. Cloud, beginning June 13. With momentum on his side and consistent performances at every level, John Gramer continues to turn heads.
