White Bear Lake’s standout goalie, Leo Gabriel, has been named the recipient of the prestigious Frank Brimsek Award, presented to the top goalie in Minnesota High School Hockey. Gabriel had an exceptional season, posting a 1.73 GAA and a .928 SV%, while finishing with a 14-8-3 record and 5 shutouts. Over the course of his three-year high school career, he amassed a 49-23-4 record, with 18 shutouts to his name.

Gabriel’s quick reflexes, impressive lateral movement, and ability to stay square to shooters make him a formidable presence in net.
