Jack Finnegan of the Sioux Falls Power U16 team has committed to play his college hockey at Miami University (Ohio). The hulking forward has 32 points in 29 games this season for the Power.
Finnegan comes from a hockey rich family as his father played Division 1 for Army. His sister, Bella, plays defense for the Minnetonka girls’ team and is committed to Harvard, while his brother, Brody, is a former Orono High School defender that plays for the Mercer Chiefs in the NCDC.
Finnegan possesses a great combination of size, power, and skill. He doesn’t hesitate to play the body and funnels pucks to the net when in the offensive zone. He’s a hard worker that continues to develop his game. Finnegan played his youth hockey in Dubai until he was 12 years old. There’s a lot to like with this prospect.
