Brent Solomon has committed to the University of Wisconsin. The Champlin Park forward put up 34 goals in 22 games last season and currently leads the Midwest Elite League in scoring with 33 points. He is projecting to be a top candidate for Mr. Hockey this season.

Tate Pritchard is off to a hot start for Sioux City of the USHL, registering 8 points in 6 games. Tate, a former standout at Lakeville South and a Minnesota State recruit, has 6 goals, which is tops in the USHL.  

Casey Mittelstadt has earned himself a spot on the Avalanches top Power-Play unit. This unit was 5th in the NHL last season and could mean career numbers for the Eden Prairie native if he continues to fill this role. Casey has 3 goals in 3 games so far this season.

Another former Eden Prairie High School standout, Jackson Blake, scored his first NHL goal on Tuesday night. The Fargo native was playing in just his third NHL game.

Defenseman Mason Poolman (East Grand Forks) leads the University of St. Thomas in scoring with 4 points in 3 games played.

Cole Koepke (Hermantown) is off to a hot start with the Boston Bruins, notching 4 points in 4 games while earning more ice time in the process. His game on Monday night was his 30th game of his young career.

University of Minnesota commit Gavin Katz (Dellwood) leads Shattuck St. Mary’s Prep in scoring with 20 points in 12 games.
