40 Minnesota High School League Products on NHL Opening Night Rosters

Minnesota and the Minnesota State High School League will be well represented throughout the NHL as 40 former players have made their teams opening night roster. Lakeville North leads the pack with four former Panthers, including Jake Ottinger who is one of the leagues top goalies and a Vezina Trophy candidate this season. Longtime Winnipeg Jets Forward and now New York Ranger, Blake Wheeler, is the active point leader among this group with 922 points in 1118 NHL games.
