Warroad star forward Carson Pilgrim will be heading the the University of North Dakota to play his college hockey he announced on Sunday.
Pilgrim had a tremendous junior season for the Warriors, helping them to a 29-1-1 record while finishing 4th in the state in scoring with 92 points (52 goals, 40 assists). After the high school season Pilgrim played in 3 games with the NTDP U17’s, notching 2 assists in 3 games played.
If Pilgrim returns for his senior season he would be an early candidate for Minnesota Mr. Hockey and make another run at a Class A State Championship. The dynamic forward was selected by Chicago last May in Phase 1 of the USHL Draft and could decide to play in the USHL next season.
