The rumors have been flying around for weeks about the possibility of Cole Eiserman committing to the Gophers. Today, Eiserman made those rumors a reality as the top recruit committed to the University of Minnesota.
Eiserman will play for the National Team Development Program Under-17 team this upcoming season after having a successful two years at Shattuck St. Mary’s. Eiserman’s skill is undeniable as he is a strong skater with great balance and possesses a top-rated shot. Here is a scouting report I posted a while back. The report still holds true, just amplified.
The Gophers have been having one of their most prolific recruiting stints in school history as they have received commitments from Javon Moore, Beckett Hendrickson, Brodie Ziemer, John Whipple, and Teddy Townsend over the past several weeks.
This is another major win for the Gophers, even if Eiserman is with them for one year.
