-Great puck possession in the offensive zone, shows confidence with the puck and wait/stall until opportunities become available.
-The ability to generate offense off the rush. Shows good speed and the ability to pass to teammates on the move.
-Absolute 100% effort in all three zones. Many call themselves “200-foot players” but O’Neill displays it at all times.
-Stickwork is good but there have been some inconsistencies with his first touch/corralling the puck.
-High intensity and tremendous energy.
