Minnesotans Heading To Boys 17 National Festival

Listed are the Minnesotans that will participate in The USA Hockey BioSteel Boys 17 National Festival in Amherst in Amherst, New York. The Camp will take place June 22nd through the 28th, 2023. 18 players will play for the Minnesota District Team while another 10 Minnesotans have at-large bids to play in the festival and will play for other districts.

Players participating in the festival will be trying out to attend the Hlinka Gretzky Cup Camp, which will take place in late July. From there, there players will go through a selection process to play for the U.S. at the Hlinka Gretzky Cup Tournament.  The Tournament will be held August 1st through the 6th, in Czechia and Slovakia.

Five Minnesotans played in the Hlinka Gretzky Cup last summer. Will Ingemann, Hampton Slukynsky, Joe Gramer, Ty Hanson, and Will Whitelaw.
